The Flood Warning continues for
the Ohio River at Olmsted lock and dam
* until further notice.
* At 8:00 PM Thursday the stage was 43.7 feet.
* Flood stage is 36.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 44.2 feet by
Saturday evening. Additional rises may be possible thereafter.

The Flood Warning continues for
the Ohio River at Cairo
* until further notice.
* At 8:00 PM Thursday the stage was 49.5 feet.
* Flood stage is 40.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast... the river will continue rising to near 49.8 feet by
early Saturday morning then begin falling.
* Impact... at 50.0 feet... the first gate is closed at Cairo.

... Patchy sleet this morning...

An area of sleet will move northeast out of southeast Missouri
this morning. Light sleet will move into far western Kentucky and
southwest Illinois. Any accumulations will be just a trace before
temperatures rise above freezing late this morning, changing
precipitation to rain. Some brief freezing rain is possible as
well.

A few slick spots are possible until temperatures rise above
freezing.
